We quite often receive phone calls from people who have just discovered their extension or new dwelling will need piling due to the ground conditions and quite often the first question is how much will it cost?
The truth is there are many factors that determine what the cost of a new build house will be, location, the size of the new house, what are the ground conditions, sand, clay, are there trees on site, even bay windows or chimney breast will affect the cost as these need piles too.
Different parts of the country have different ground conditions which means different pile types are required to deal with these ground conditions. Really poor (soft) ground means deeper or larger diameter piles. Actually all we need is a copy of the architects drawings, plans and elevations so that we can put a custom scheme together for the house layout.
If you don’t know what your ground conditions are, don’t worry, we have years of knowledge and can often tell you very accurately what you’ll have beneath your feet. At the end of the day we are here to help get you out the ground in the most stress free and economical way possible.
We realise it can be potetially an uncertain time so please call us or fill in the online form if you have any queries on 01302 265 856
